Official Competition Rules

Five ranked attempts, server-validated scores, skill-only placement.

One global competition per UTC calendar day. Server time is authoritative.

Exactly five ranked attempts for every authenticated player. Unlimited practice. Anonymous demo is unofficial.

Official score is the best server-validated ranked score that day. Invalidated, expired, practice, and demo scores do not count.

Ties use the game’s published chain, then duration, then completion time, then a stable attempt hash. Never payment or popularity.

Top 10 and #1 scores may be held briefly for enhanced review. Public language will say “Score under review.” We do not publicly accuse players.

After close, a 90-second grace applies only to already-started ranked submits. Then Top 10 is snapshotted and one Daily Champion is crowned. Champion rows are immutable. Yesterday’s Top 10 is shown the following day only. The Hall of Champions keeps the Daily Champion and their Spot card — not a forever Top 10 list.

WinTheSpot is skill-based. There is no prize money, wagering, or jackpot framing.
